Jack of Spades, along with his partner Chakra, and a cast of other Trans-human police officers such as Peranodon, Private Eye and Fata Morgana, are on the case trying to figure out the secret identity of a mysterious serial killer who seems to have Trans-human powers of his own. The Somnambulist has other plans, though, and is intent to make Jack's life a shambles.
